Given equations,

\begin{gathered} x+2y=6\ldots\ldots\ldots\text{.}(1) \\ x-y=3\ldots\ldots\ldots(2) \end{gathered}

Solve both the equations,

\begin{gathered} 3y=3 \\ y=1 \end{gathered}

Put y = 1 in the equation (1)

\begin{gathered} x+2y=6 \\ x+2*1=6 \\ x=6-2 \end{gathered}

Thus, the value of x is

x=4

Therefore, the value of (x,y) is (4,1).

Thus, the ordered pair (4,1) is the solution of the system.
