Let's first find perimeter.

The perimeter of a circle is also known as the circumference.

Circumference = pi * diameter

Circumference = pi * 4

Perimeter = 4pi, or the approximate exact value: 12.57 meters

Now let's find area.

Area = pi * radius^2

Radius is half of the diameter, which in this case, 2.

Area = pi * 2^2

Area = 4pi, or the approximate exact value: 12.57 meters ^2
