Probability = required outcome / all possible outcome

Total number of balls = 5+ 3+4 = 12

a) number of red ball = 4

p( red gum ball) = 4/12 = 1/3

b)

number of green ball = 5

p(green ball) = 5/12

p(not green ball) = 1- 5/12

=12-5 /12

=7/12
