First, isolate y on both equations:

x-y=2

4x-3y=12

y= x-2

-3y=12-4x

y = (12-4x)/-3

y= 4/3x-4

So, the system:

y=x-2

y=4/3x-4

Graph:

The point where both lines cross each other is the solution.

Solution: (6,4)

4. x - y = 2 4x-3y = 12Solve by graphing please-example-1
