Find the slope an y intercept of the second graph:

slope intercept form equation:

y=mx+b

Where:

m= slope ( rise/run)

b= y-intercept ( where the line crosses the y axis)

slope formula : m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

Choose two points from the first graph, for example :

(x1,y1) = (0,2)

(x2,y2)= (1,0)

m = (0-2)/(1-0) = -2/1 = -2

y= -2x +b

Replace (x,y) for a point (x1,y1) and solve for b

2 = -2(0) + b

2= b

b= 2

y= -2x + 2 (second graph)

Since the points appear also on the second table, the equivalent options are:

Second graph, second table , first equation (y=-2x+2)
