Given a set of ordered pairs (x,y), the collection of values of the first coordinates is the domain, and the set of values of the second coordinates is the range of the relation.

Therefore, in our case,


\begin{gathered} \text{domain}=\mleft\lbrace4,1\mright\rbrace=\mleft\lbrace1,4\mright\rbrace \\ \text{range}=\mleft\lbrace c,a,d\mright\rbrace=\mleft\lbrace a,c,d\mright\rbrace \end{gathered}

The answers are domain={1,4}, range={a,c,d}
