The number pi is a constant that is found when in any circle we divide its perimeter over its diameter, this is:

\pi=(P)/(D)

Where "P" is perimeter and "D" is the diameter. This number is approximately equal to:

\pi=3.1415926535897932\ldots

So far no pattern has been found for the digits of pi and as it goes forever this is considered an irrational number. The statement is true.
