You have 12 gallons of lemonade to sell you use one cone shaped cups that are 10 centimeters in diameter and 11 cm tall each customer uses one paper cup .

Solution:

Diameter = 10 cm

Radius = 5 cm

Height = 11 cm

Volume of the cylinder = pi x r^2 x h

= 22/ 7 x 5 ^2 x 11

= 864 2/7 cm ^3

12 gallons = 45424.9 cm ^3

0.22832 gallons = 864 2/7 cm ^3

Then 12/ ( 0.22832 ) = 52.557 = 53 paper cups
