SOLUTION

The expanded form of the expression (−³ − √)⁸ is so long to solve here.

But using a calculator, the expanded form is


\begin{gathered} x^(24)+16\sqrt{x^(43)}+112x^(19)+448\sqrt{x^(33)}+1120x^(14)+1792\sqrt{x^(23)}+1792x^9 \\ +1024\sqrt{x^(13)}+256x^4 \end{gathered}

So from the expanded form given, we can see that the coefficient of ⁹ is 1792

Hence the answer is 1792
