The given equation is-

6+(n)/(5)=-4

First, we subtract 6 on each side

\begin{gathered} 6-6+(n)/(5)=-4-6 \\ (n)/(5)=-10 \end{gathered}

Then, we multiply the equation by 5

\begin{gathered} (n)/(5)\cdot5=-10\cdot5 \\ n=-50 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the solution is n = -50.

Let's prove this solution. We just have to replace the variable n with the value we found.-

\begin{gathered} 6+(-50)/(5)=-4 \\ 6-10=-4 \\ -4=-4 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the solution is right.
