Megan and her little sister, Nora, counted their Halloween candy after trick-or-treating. Theylove taffy and wanted to know who collected more taffy pieces compared to the rest of thecandy. The ratio that represents the quantity of taffy pieces out of the total for each girl is:


\text{MEGAN}=(20)/(50)=(2)/(5)=0.4

and


\text{NORA}=(11)/(25)=0.44

we also know that 0.44 is greater that 0.4 so the answer is that Nora got the greater ratio.
