Given the equation;

0=1(x+2)(x-(3)/(5))

First, we multiply the factors, we have;

\begin{gathered} 0=(x+2)(x-(3)/(5)) \\ 0=x(x-(3)/(5))+2(x-(3)/(5)) \\ 0=x^2-(3)/(5)x+2x-(6)/(5) \end{gathered}

Then, multiply each term of the equation by 5, we have;

\begin{gathered} 5(0)=5x^2-5((3)/(5))x+5(2x)-5((6)/(5)) \\ 0=5x^2-3x+10x-6 \\ 0=5x^2+7x-6 \\ 5x^2+7x-6=0 \end{gathered}
