we are given initial temperature and pressure of a gas and a final temperature and we are asked to determine the final pressure

to find this we can use Boyle's law

P1/T1 = P2/T2

we can rearrange to make P2 subject of the formula

P2 = P1T2/T1

= (398 x 602)/503

= 476.3 atm
