What is the slope for (-2,9) and (7,3)

The equation to find the slope is


\text{slope}=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

and then solve


\text{slope}=(3-9)/(7-(-2))=(-6)/(7+2)=(-6)/(9)=-(2)/(3)

Answer: - 2/3
