Hello!

We have the function:

f(x)=5^x

To solve it, we must replace where's x by -2, look:

f(-2)=5^(-2)

As we have a negative sign, let's write the inverse of it:

((5)/(1))^(-2)\rightarrow((1)/(5))^2

So, we'll have:

\begin{gathered} f(-2)=((1)/(5))^2 \\ \\ f(-2)=(1)/(5)\cdot(1)/(5) \\ \\ f(-2)=(1\cdot1)/(5\cdot5) \\ \\ \boxed{f(-2)=(1)/(25)} \end{gathered}

Answer:

1/25.
