We have to predict if these elements will float or will sink in water.

An element will sink in water if its density (its mass per unit of volume) is greater that the density of water. If it is not, it will float.

Then, we can predict that the heavier objects will sink and lighter objects will float:

Marbles: Sink

Oil: Float

Aluminium foil: Float

Eraser: Float.
