Find the area of a square if the perimeter is 24 mters

Given the following question:

All sides of a square are the same which will be vital to the answer of this question.

p = 24 meters


\begin{gathered} p=a+a+a+a \\ p=6+6+6+6=24 \\ p=24m \end{gathered}

Now that we know all the length of all the sides of the square we can find the area.


\begin{gathered} a=a* a \\ a=6*6=36 \\ a=36 \end{gathered}

The area is 36 square meters!
