First, remember that if an expression involves only multiplications, the order in which the multiplications are performed does not affect the final result.

On the other hand, remember that when two negative numbers are multiplied, the result is a positive number.

Starting with the expression:

-2\cdot(-4)\cdot9

Multiply -2 times -4:

-2\cdot(-4)\cdot9=8\cdot9

Then, multiply 8 times 9:

8\cdot9=72

Thefore:

-2\cdot(-4)\cdot9=72
