The volume of a cylinder is given by

$V=\pi r^2h$

where r is the radius of the base and h is the height of the cylinder.

Now, in our case, r = 6 in and h = 10 in ; therefore,

$V=\pi(6in)^2(10in)$
$V=360\pi\: (in^3)$
$V=360(3.14)\: (in^3)$
$\boxed{V=1130.4\: (in^3)}$

The surface area of a cylinder is given by

$A=2\pi r^2+2\pi rh$

putting in the values of h and r gives
