The social impacts of slavery were African-American’s being discriminated against by whites. They were often excluded from public spaces and usually couldn’t even be served at all at most public spaces. The economic impacts of slavery were African-Americans having to struggle to find jobs to make money because they didn’t think they were worthy of having a good paying job and being able to support themselves without the help of white people.
