To Find the Inverse of a Function

first rewrite f(x) as just y

y = ( x + 9) ^ (1/2)

then, you need to swap X and Y

x = ( y + 9) ^ (1/2)

and solve the function for Y

x = ( y + 9) ^ (1/2)

x = √( y + 9)

(x)² = y + 9

x²-9 = y
