The idea of a line fit is "capturing the points", being near of the point, using a right line; why a right line? Beacuse it is the most simple function for which we know everything abut it. The best fit, is the line that captures more points, or is in "the middle of the points". Note that the unique line "surrounded" by the points is B. That's our answer!
