From the given diagram, it is observed that the angle PQT is a combination of two angles, one of which measures 43 degrees, and the other one measures 37 degrees.

If these two angles together constitute the angle PQT, then the sum of them must be equal to the measure of the angle PQT,


\angle PQT=43^(\circ)+37^(\circ)

Add the like terms,


\angle PQT=80^(\circ)
