What is the sign of -x/-y when x>0 and y>0

Given that we have -x/-y when x is greater than 0 and y is also greater than 1, the result will have a positive(+) sign.

Example: Let x = 8 and y = 4,

To solve the above, we have:


(-x)/(-y)\text{ = }(-8)/(-4)\text{ = 2}
