The slope of the line is rise (y) over the run (x)

It can be calculated using two points lies on the line (x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2)

so,

Rise = y2 - y1

Run = x2 - x1

so, the slope = m

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
