1) There are some ways to solve this question. Let's tackle that algebraically, checking whether or not this is true after we plug that ordered pair into the inequality:


\begin{gathered} y>x^2-5x,(2,-3) \\ -3>(2)^2-5(2) \\ -3>4-10 \\ -3>-6 \end{gathered}

2) Note that now, we can examine it. In the number line, for the negative numbers the closer we are to zero the greater we are. So, -3 > -6 is true.

3) And, finally, we can state that point (2,-3) is a possible solution for this inequality.
