What is the mood of the story ‘Tell-Tale Heart’? Explain

The telltale heart is mysterious and anxious. The narrator becomes anxious, because he is committed a crime, and his guilt begins to take over him. The author builds the mood through the increased pace of the story, when you hear the heart through the floorboards.
