An object is launched directly in the air at a speed of 64 feet per second from a platform located 12 feet above the ground. The position of the object can be modeled using the function f(t)=−16t2+64t+12, where t is the time in seconds and f(t) is the height, in feet, of the object. What is the maximum height, in feet, that the object will reach?

Answer:

Explanation:

Ok so the way I did this does not use the f(t) function so I'm not sure if it's correct CORRECT, just used u²/2g and took g = 32.17 ft/s²

answer obtained is 63.66 ft. Add 12ft to it and you should have the height from ground.
