\begin{gathered} (3)/(m-1)=(6)/(3m-8) \\ \text{ Apply crossmultiplication method} \\ 3(3m-8)=6(m-1) \\ 3*3m-3*8=6* m-6*1 \\ 9m-24=6m-6 \\ 9m-6m=24-6 \\ 3m=18 \\ m=(18)/(3) \\ m=6 \end{gathered}

ANswer : m =6
