if 2 * 10^4 cars drive daily,

how many days will it take for 1 *10^6 to pass

\begin{gathered} 1\text{day}=2*10^4cars \\ \text{xdays}=1*10^6cars=10^6 \\ \text{cross multiply both sides and solve for x} \\ 1*10^6=x*2*10^4 \\ \text{divide both sides by 2}*10^4 \\ x=(1*10^6)/(2*10^4) \\ x=50 \end{gathered}

it will take approximately 50 days for 1*10^6 cars to pass through

the answer is 50 days which is option b
