What do you think Christian Europeans did when they met non-Christian American Indians?

It’s not a matter of what our individual opinion “thinks”, as you put it. It’s a matter of documented fact that we have to look at. Just as they felt about themselves. They wanted left alone from religious persecution. Why would they, then persecute the American Indians themselves?
They were initially puritans who came over. Highly religious individuals (mostly).
