Yes it is a known fact that plastic has a devastating impact in the environment, being in the envronmemt for ages and affecting wildlife and humans since the deposition of this material is slow while the acomulation and production is fast. The plastic contributes for global warming, thereliance in fossil fuels, spread toxins in the oceans, the burning og plastic material releases gases and toxins in the atmosphere, leads to death of marine animals and clogged water channels.
