The equation of a line in poins slope form is given by:


y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

where m is the slope and (x1,y1) is a point on the line. Plugging the values the problem gives we have:


\begin{gathered} y-4=-6(x-(-2)) \\ y-4=-6(x+2) \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation in point slope form is:


y-4=-6(x+2)
