R 7.496 approximately 7.5 feet

1) Since a circumference is calculated by this formula:


\begin{gathered} C=2\pi R \\ \end{gathered}

2) Then we can plug that into the formula:


\begin{gathered} C=2\pi R \\ 47.1=2\pi R \\ (47.1)/(2\pi)=(2\piR)/(2\pi) \\ R\text{ =7.496} \end{gathered}

So the Radius is approximately 7.496 ft
