How did romanization help the roman empire grow

Romanization played a very important role in life of every inhabitant for the reason that identification with the Roman state could facilitate his career and life itself in the Roman empire. Romans never imposed their culture by force, it was a voluntary act. Persecutions of Christians and Jewish people may be considered peculiarity here.
