In a right triangle

If a height drew from the right angle (perpendicular to the hypotenuse)

Then there is some relation between the sides of the right angle and the height of the parts of the hypotenuse

1.

\begin{gathered} x^2=9^2+5^2 \\ x^2=81+25 \\ x^2=106 \\ x=√(106) \end{gathered}

2.

\begin{gathered} y^2=3^2+5^2 \\ y^2=9+25 \\ y^2=34 \\ y=√(34) \end{gathered}
