Captain John Smith wrote books based on his journals to persuade people to colonize America. How would a story like his capture by Powhatan and rescue by Pocahontas appeal to people who were considering moving to colonial America?

His rescue by Pocahontas putting her head on his to protect him from getting killed by her own tribe would appeal to people thinking about colonizing because they would think there was adventure and some people in the tribes were friendly to the colonist.
