Let be "x" the amount of calories the new snack has.

Based on the information given in the exercise, you can set up the following equation:

\begin{gathered} x=200-(22)/(100)(200) \\ \\ x=200-0.22(200) \end{gathered}

(Notice that 22% can be written as a decimal number by dividing 22 by 100)

Now, in order to find the value of "x", you need to evaluate:

1. You must solve the multiplication:

x=200-44

2. Finally you must solve the subtraction:

x=156

The answer is: It has 156 calories.
