4-10x = 3+5x Subtract 4 from both sides

4-4-10x=3-4+5x

-10x =-1+5x Subtract 5x from both sides, to isolate x on the left side

-10x -5x = -1 +5x -5x

-15x=-1 Divide both sides by -15 to get the value of x, not -15x

x=1/15
