Answer: Reproduction of viruses using host cells

Explanation: In the lytic cycle the viruses introduces its genome into a host cell and initiates replication by introducing itself into the host cellular machinery and makes copies of itself and developes its own mechanism. Once introduced virus particles are released through lysis of the host cell into surrounding waters and produces its effects.
