A store sells small notebooks for $6 and large notebooks for $10. If a student buys 6 notebooks and spends $48, how many of each size did he buy?

Answer: just one way to do it. You can buy 3, large books and 3 small books

Explanation:

10x3=30

48-30=18

18 divided by 3 = 6

They could buy 8 small notebooks or 3 large notebooks and 3 small notebooks.
