How to plot (1,-5/2) on a graph

1 is the x-value (aka says how far left or right something is) while -5/2 is the y-value (aka says how far up or down something is). To plot this point, we must go right 1 and down 5/2 because positives mean to the right/up and negatives mean to the left/down.
