A mixture comptais two or more constituents which are easily separated through physical methods. It maybe combined either elements or compounds. Examples of mixtures is air, bronze, sea, water, petroleum, milk, urine, and blood.

A mixture is a combination of two or more substances in a variable proportion. It may be homogenous (uniform composition throughout) or heterogenous (varied composition throughout). Examples of homogenous mixtures are salt solutions, sugar solution (uniform appearance and composition throughout. Heterogenous- sand in water, mud in water etc. (varied composition)
