What is a hurricane?

A hurricane is a large storm that consists of heavy rain, hail, strong winds, flooding, thunderstorms, etc. Hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Damaging homes taking over roads with serious flooding and possibly even killing some people.

Fun Fact: a hurricane's horizontal scale is about a thousand times larger than a tornado.
