Charlie worked 1.5 hours less than Dirk. Together, they worked a total of 25 hours. Dirk worked h hours.

A. h + (h + 1.5) = 25
B. h − 1.5 = 25

C. h+ (h-1.5)=25

h-1.5 would equal 1.5 hours LESS than what Dirk worked. Add that to h, or the number of hours Dirk worked, and that would equal 25.
