Answer is The Indian Removal Act in 1830 signed by then President Jackson, pushed Indians out of Florida and pulled in White people who wanted the Indians land to grow cotton. The Indians were forced to move to Oklahoma on the “Trail of Tears” where many died on the trail and then in a Oklahoma where the land was not suitable for them to live.
