D. In brief, when the nerve impulses reached the axon terminal, it will stimulate the vesicle in the axon terminal to release neurotransmitters and bind with the receptor located on the surface of the dendron in another nerve fiber/ the receptors on muscle(I.e. skeletal muscle)
