The Indentured Servants asked for property and more benefits(greedy), so the plantation owners thought it would be more beneficial to have slaves work on there land, since they had no rights. The colonies shifted from indentured servants to enslaved Africans by the Atlantic slave trade, and by using boats to go to Africa and capture slaves.
