During the first second after release, the object falls 5 meters; during the next second, it falls 15 meters; during the third second it falls 25 meters. If this pattern continues, what will be the total distance the object has fallen after 10 seconds?

It would be 95. This is because at 1 second, it is 5 meters. Every second after that adds 10 more. 9 more seconds would be 90 plus the initial second is 95.
