Why hasn't their been a huge nuclear disaster?

Answer:

The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons was renewed a few months ago I believe, so nuclear disaster would be incapable of occurring until it ends, if it does. Because the countries might decide to keep renewing it, in order to keep peace. Though another reason would be because we are advancing in technology so over time there would be less occurrences as such of the Chernobyl Incident.
